Paul continues to impress me with his growing ability achieving Master Luthier status. Easy play coupled with clear voicing, excellent projection, it is a pure joy to play. The warmth of the Cedar is evident, while maintaining a clearly focused voice, highlighting superb highs and just the right amount of bass, lending a beautiful melding of classical character that leaves me smiling. She plays quite easily, no struggles at all, with a pure, singing voice. Paul Weaver builds an excellent instrument with superb detail, as can be evidenced in the photos, at a more than accessible price point. This Hauser model is an excellent example of his work, perfect for Baroque, Classical and Modern Repertoire.
