Ash is among the best craftsman in the land down under, unique in that his guitars have a beautiful blending of voice, power and visual elegance! Just sat down with the guitar for a 15 minute warmup session. Very nice. Excellent power, projection, separation of voice (I was playing a new transcription of Bach’s Flute Partita I’m working on releasing). Deep bass response with excellent mid voices and singing trebles. Pretty girl too. Ashley continues to impress. We record everything flat with just a touch of Reverb to relieve dryness. My goal is to record the guitar as realistically as is possible. My speaking also serves to give you my first impressions and to also give you a balance of the engineering (or lack thereof) versus the sound of the guitar.
