Built for the 1 owner, who purchased it directly from Kazuo in Germany, this is a beautiful example of Sato and his work with clear voices and powerful basses blending together for a more than pleasing classical experience. He was a very clean and precise builder, as evidenced by my internal inspection of the guitar. Very nice work. The simplicity of the rosette and binding work is very attractive. The guitar has most definitely seen play time. There is clear evidence of honest playing wear on the top, nail marks, rasqueado, a string ding behind the treble E, etc. Photos will show all of this clearly. The CSA is exemplary, having been expertly repaired by Matt Rubendall of Brooklyn, who I personally know and implicitly trust with work of this nature.. I’ve just cleaned and polished the guitar, fretboard cleaning and oiling, with a normal tension bass E and everything else a high tension, thus sounding rounder and warm, with a clear sing to her voice and excellent push from the basses and mids. This is a seriously nice and beautiful guitar in every way. Kazuo Sato __________ Media Listening with high quality headphones or audio equipment is highly recommended including EQ manipulation, if possible. We record everything flat with just a touch of Reverb to relieve dryness. My goal is to record the guitar as realistically as is possible. I speak in the recordings, my thoughts about the guitar (and possibly other things?). My speaking also serves to give you my first impressions and to also give you a balance of the engineering (or lack thereof) versus the sound of the guitar.
